I know there are alot of bitter Ben fans, but look at things objectively.
Ben has said some quite bad things about HMs in the house and those that used to be. He is absurdly vain and and self-obsessed, talking about himself all the time and not listening so much. He isn't that much fun either. Ben has been unfairly favoured by twists and has been given alot of airtime. Dave is a big character and he has just been alot more fun than Ben and gets on with people in the house more.
