He is supposed to be a christian so surely he should ask them to cease if he finds it offensive.

Of course he wouldnt think that some of the things he does could be found to be offensive to others, the drunk on the lord etc.

Looking at the state of the house in general I bet the whole place smells horrific too.

The smoking area is outside in the garden. Being able to smell the burnt tobacco from someones clothes isnt passive smoking.
