Thats because they are the ONLY Week 1 four person alliance in BB history. Just because they are dominant doesn't mean they are actually good players. Like I said, the only way they are making it for is because they have numbers. They haven't made any bold moves or won any major competitions really.

The point about gender is, most people don't want to watch a show that is completely dominated by the males. It's boring and predictable.

The same thing is happening to BBUK this season, it's all dominated by the males.

Chilltown (BB2), Mrs. Robinson (BB8), Jessie/Angie/Memphis/Michelle (BB10), Lisa/Eric/Roddy/Chiara (BB3), Season6ers (BB7) & Four Horsemen (BB5) ring a bell. If you include 4+ alliances you have "The Elite Eight" (BB4), "The NBKs" (BB11), "The Dumb 5" (BB11), "The Late-Night-Club" (BB8) and more.

The reason they are dominant isn't number based at all. An alliance of 8-9 can blow it if the one person they don't like gets HoH (and we've seen this happen). The reason they're dominant is the manner in which they're operating (in the shadows). Just like BB3's Jason and Danielle, the house is pretty much clueless as to their existence.

Also, each Brigader has/had a sub-alliance that will not put them up (Lane with Britney, Matt with Ragan, Hayden had Kristen, Enzo doesn't but he has a great social game that keeps him off everyone's radar for now). This is an integral part to their gameplay that's paying dividends at the moment.

BBUSA is essentially an equal-opportunity game. Aside from starting with 7 Men to 6 Women, it's fair. Traditional BB is different altogether, more women vote and the Bieber-crazed teenyboppers jumping up and down with a "John James is Proper Fit" mentality skew it toward male winners more often then not (except in the Philippines for some reason).

Sure, more guys have won BBUSA than girls, probably because a majority of the guys seem to be able to check their emotions at the door better.

The difference though, is all those alliances had OTHER alliances they were competing against. The Brigade is the only real alliance in this game. They simply don't have any competition. Brendon/Rachel don't exactly count since they are just a couple who obviously have each others backs.

If 'The Brigade' were to be in any other season of BB, they would hardly last a week. It's just that this season is filled with alot of dumb players.

And as much as I dislike Matt, he's the only one even doing anything. Hayden, Lane, and Enzo suck at competitions and haven't done jack ****.
