Hey, if you find them funny, more power to you. Last of the Summer Wine isn't really my thing though.

Actually, Last of the Summer Wine was more slapstick situational humour, based on gooning and quite lowbrow and probably quite suited to a fan of Sam's, whereas Andrew is more a thinking man's humour of deadpan, irony, and observation.

I am starting to see why you don't get him now though

yeah because andrews entertaining with actual intelligence while sam is not entertaining and has to live off being spiteful to people.

It's inoffensive, lighthearted and harmless, like a fun day in BB4.

Let's all read a book, have some tea, then have a nap!!

FML. Some people who watch Big Brother just...shouldn't watch it.

Yeah, true that. Some people have reduced it to being just gooning around and people being ***** to each other for Star readers.

Shame really.

Yeah, I mean I'd much rather hear Andrew talk about how he loves doing Maths, and how Dave loves his kids, and how he gets wasted on the good Lord...oh, and how Steve sits so elegantly on the couch.

Shame really.

You missed the point of what I am saying, but again that explains a lot as to why you don't get Andrew and can relate to Sam. Not everyone will get subtleties, it's ok.
