That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

Ever wondered why there are gay bars!?.. because in a regular bar if a gay couple walked in holding hands and kissing that they would be frowned upon by alot of other customers and can face discrimination.

So before you sit there and say that gay people segregate themselves, think about why that is nessecary sometimes.

My local in my small town is called the cage, it's a working mans bar, hardly any women go in.

I met this gay bloke in another pub in town and thought it would be funny(as he did) to go to the cage and see how the apes would take it..you know what!, everyone loved him, he was the life and soul of the place that night. My brother in law walked home with him after shutting time and confessed he would try anything once..our gay friend has been back thrice in the past 6 months cause he loved the night out that much...my advice to you is..MOVE.

Wow, well I suppose if that happened in that one bar then that changes the whole world. And FYI, where I live there isn't alot of homophobia.. but it is a problem in alot of bars and the fact you deny that shows your naivety to the situation.

It's so ignorant to say stuff like that. If you research you'll see that lots of gay people have even been killed in bars just for being themselves. So instead of us 'secluding ourselves' how about it becomes exceptable to the wider public that a gay couple can be the same as a straight couple. But i can assure you that there is far far more straight people killed in bars just for being themselves than there is gay folks.
