She became an international one hit wonder, her second album didn't dent the american charts at all if i remember correctly.

I'd much prefer FYD or one of the Over 28's out first, like her or loathe her in terms of X Factor she's something a bit different.

Better in time was a big follow up hit worldwide actually. Spent ages in US 100 and made No10 or 11. Just because her first hit was her biggest doesnt make it the only hit. And she had other hits globally too...its not all about USA.

And her album sold 7 million. She is a recognised global name. Not many of those come from talent shows, including American Idol.

In all fairness Leona is the main star to come from X factor, she also became the first British female singer to top the USA charts for near 2 decades.There are only about 5 female singers from Britain who have achieved that, I think.
Sometimes,a reserved personality can be a benefit, Leona has a great voice,she showed in her year on Xfactor that a 'voice' was how to win the series.
Leona still has many years of success and recording in her.To be fair.
