This is my theory, and I accept he might have fancied her and he might be bisexual like he claimsBut my theory is he didn't find Rachel sexually attractive, he chose to admit his desire for her because he knew she was out of his league and her feelings were not reciprocated, he also claimed he fancied Rachel 2 but when she showed interest in him he completely backed off and flirted with other girls. I don't think he's into women in that way

It was highly inappropriate. Some very young people watch the show (as evidenced by the popularity of some contestants on twitter) and it was both thoughtless and vulgar of Mario to say such things. But he did it for the shock value, just like the naked streaking.

I still have no idea why Ben's sexual preferences are such an issue !!!

I don't care if he is a closet gay, bisexual, asexual, metrosexual, celibate ....and neither do I give fig about Mario's sexuality.

A person's sexuality does not the person make. It is their personality, their character, their social skills and how they interact with others,, how their behaviour is acceptable etc that maketh the man.

I wonder if Mario is/ was simply besotted with ben, infatuated to the point that this unrequited love is too much for him to bear??

I hope Mario finds peace with himself as I don't think he is a happy chappy. I also hope he finds some sort of direction that will lead him to find success, but it would be nice if he tried achieve something through less immoral means that pretend charities etc. And I agree Voddy... I'd not wear his 'clothing' to take my rubbish out to the bin. My neighbours would think I'd spent the week on acid!! LOL

Of course he really fancied the first Rachael. He did from the moment she first worked through the doors, I remember his words being something along the lines of, "Oh looks it Beyonce, my luck has changed". He reminded me a little bit of the geeky boy at school who has a crush on the pretty, popular girl but she didn't know he existed and he couldn't pluck up the courage to do anything about it.

I never believed he fancied Rachel 2 at all, she clearly irritated the hell out of him and he irritated her. She only wanted Ben for a storyline for herself.

His very close friend, who knows, rather than spouts theories, says otherwise.

Why is your theory more valid than the many affirmations made on this site, and others, that Ben is in fact, a straight man who is attracted to women ? Not that we would like him any the less if he was gay, but he's not, so we are discussing a ridiculous hypothesis.

It's like having a debate with someone who insists the world is flat and when faced with reality, they just say the same thing over and over again

You are entitled to think and believe what you like, but Ben is adorned by beautiful women all the time,you have heard a forum member here tell you that her son is one of his best friends and they go out together all the time, he fancies women, he loves women, he is attracted to women, now why do you think that you are better placed to comment on his lifestyle.Rachel is not out of his league, he attracts beautiful women like a magnet, one glimpse of Ben is all it seemingly takes to have them swooning.

I told you it was a theory and also the person you are talking about is Ultra Violet who also claims that ben is not into men at all despite me hearing on BB from ben himself that he is, why should I believe Ultra Violet more than ben himself?

Indeed Ben's other friend (also called Ben) said in a magazine interview that women often throw themselves at him and he's been involved with lots of beautiful women. He also couldn't understand why he had so little female attention in the house.

Who gives a flying fart whether Ben is straight, gay or bi?
