I think the very salient point you continually keep missing, is that it provides exposure, which in turn, may generate further types of work.

As for you imagining Mario would dismissing it - Mario certainly would not look down his nose at anyone, far less Ben for appearing on a 'reality tv game show'. I knowthat for absolute certaintly. Why am I so sure.

Because that precisely is what BB is - and Mario was desperate to not only be in the show, but to STAY in it (as shown by his bedroom ranting tantrum when he was nominated).

Therein lies the reason for why I think Mario would be at best, a little envious - at worst, very jealous - of Ben.
