I think they've realised that if they don't .... she simply won't actually take much part in the trials.

Waste of a bloody good show and waste of good trials that are meant to be fun for the audience to watch.

yes i understand that she would not do the trails , i expect the producers have had a word with her and said they wont put insects in etc....but the consequences of her not getting any food is that the other contestants will get hungry and angry and it will create drama. it's only 2 weeks ffs they can all go back to caviar and smoked salmon as soon as there out. i think the public also want to test this woman who so thoroughly rejects the working class british diet with such arrogance and authority. i think some of the anger towards her is that we have been conned by this mentally ill pathetic creature, who has earned a lot of money out of projecting her neurotic eating habits onto normal people.
