Not necessarily a big Cher fan (although i do think she is talented, just not a big fan of her attitude) but i thought her first performance was superb. Her second was garbage.

Think alot of people dismiss her because of her attitude but if you can look pass that there is definitely talent there.

Actually, the word you are looking for isn't 'confident' - Cher does not need to try to be confident, she already is, and overconfident to the point that she is utterly arrogant.

Matt and Rebecca are humble. It's something young, immature Cher has yet to learn what that word actually means.

Did you not see how upset she was last week been in the bottom 2? she clearly isn't as confident as she likes to make out, stop acting like you know everything about her when all you've done is judge her on a 3 minute performance every week.

She was shocked to the very core that she was in the bottom two last week because she is so far up her own arse, and believes her own hype, that it simply never occurred to her that she actually is not as good as thinks she is.

As for me judging her on a 3 min performance every week: oh, that will be the same thing that you judge her on, but you're allowed to and I'm not? yeah...right.....

Well if you were going to Cher's concert or Matt and Rebecca's, then they'd be stood in the middle of stage doing **** all, whereas Cher has attitude and puts everything into every performance she does.

I don't think she's arrogant though, she's just confident, which is actually a good thing. :/

I can categorically assure you that I would pay to see Rebecca and Matt, but wouldn't waste money on a chavvy and cocky little bint like Cher. so that's that problem solved.

No, clearly my previous post made it clear that I would not venture to see Cher in any concert, because as far as I am concerned, she has no real talent - not that can be classed talent - unless dressing like she belongs in some down town ghetto in the States, bouncing her legs, and faux rapping can ever be considered singing - which is can't. so nope, she's rubbish, absolute rubbish.

Prove that anyone else on this thread does not watch as much as you seem to do - you assume that, but you certainly have no idea how much others are viewing back scenes or may be following Cher (or any of the other contestants).

All I know of Matt is that he's been speaking bad about Wagner, and that he's been in trouble in his past or something. I don't actually know what he's like. :/

She's got attitude and personality, if you watch her video diaries and things, she's actually a really sweet girl and doesn't seem the same as when she's on stage.

How many songs have been sung throughout the show so far, and you are saying she's only been good at three of them?

That really proves that she's not 'all that' then really, if after so many weeks of so many songs, she's only cut the mustard on 3 paltry songs.

She's got some talent, better than the average girl on the street I accept.. but this isn't a school disco, this is a national singing competition.

Exactly. Her audition was an exact copy of an Internet video and Stay and Imagine? She murdered two great songs. Tortured them slowly, pulled out their fingernails and murdered them - oh, and cried every time she couldn't reac a note Oh......how I laughed.....

The sad thing, I think, is that she probably will have a career because there will always be the tone deaf and the simply selectively deaf who will always opt for (cheap and common) style over substance.
