I know exactly how many democratic models work thank you very much. The democratic republic only being one model

I wish you would answer the point directly, do people always vote for the actual person as you suggested or as is often the case simply vote for the party they always have as I stated?

I can only speak for myself, and i've already explained my understanding of voting.
You vote for the person you want to represent yur interests. no?

If you are so oblivious to everything, thatyou simply check a box because it's the party yur parents voted for, then you deserve exactly what you get. Sounds like those epople don't put much effort into the process to begin with, so how can they comlpain.

If you don't like any of the candidates running, then why arn't you running?

At the time of your original posting you hadnt explained your reasoning, you edited your post while I was writing and posting my last one. There are lots of people who do vote for a particular party because their families have always voted that way, if that suits them its fine after all its their vote.

People will always complain about politicians, policies etc because you simply cant please all the people all the time.

I never said I didnt like any of the candidates, running, I was merely pointing out that people dont always vote for the actual person as you stated. Even if I did dislike them all I couldnt run for public office for a variety of reasons.
