It's not hard to sit in a room and say, oh yea I like that! Lets add an ohh to the end of the chorus and call it a day. There's a massive difference between co-writing a few songs and writing one of the biggest selling albums of the past 5 years.

Lady Gaga is a much newer and fresher artist than Madonna. She has much more potential and is, in my opinion, the new Queen of Pop. Madonna lost her crown immediately when she released Give it 2 Me. Seriously a 50 year old woman singing that song. She's old enough to be my granny.

You are talking about Madonna here, she would have most of the control over the lyrics. Lady Gaga is current that is why she is so popular, Madonna still has masses of fans who still by her singles and albums. Madonna will still be around in the future.

Lady GaGa is relevant, she's evolving via her music and image which is how she'll continue to stay relevant.

She capped 2010 by passing the 1 billion views mark on YouTube, being named one of Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women and Billboard's Artist of the Year. She scored six Grammy nominations, placed a pair of songs on MTV News' Top 25 countdown, including "Telephone" at #10, and was honored with eight different wax figures by Madame Tussauds. Oh, and then, there's the matter of Born This Way, which is due early next year and, by all accounts, is shaping up to be pretty great.

Oh. And she helped repeal DADT.

Hard Candy was released in a difficult part of her life, she was going through a divorce and other home truths. HC isnt her best album but Madonna will release much better and bigger!
