Sign of a bad producer.
Indeed, I think a new producer would do EE the world of good, and it'd be good if the new producer didn't play up to the sensationalism like Kirkwood and Santer, but instead concentrated on telling good stories and building characters

Yeah me too. The past few years on EE they've relied too much on the same characters (Stacey and Ronnie mainly) and as a result the quality of the show has gone down dramatically. EE has always been about showing gritty storylines but there's been too many recently, they need lighter material, I know Corrie is famous for having good storylines but with the comedy value and I think EE could do with a bit of that as well. We need to get to know the characters more, good thing about Corrie is you feel you know the characters and want to be involved in their day to day lives but in EE there are still some characters who we know very little about and they've been there for more than 2 years. New producer is just what this show needs or it will just get worse.
