how can you say that when her new album is creating a huge buzz, as is her new single due to be released this week(I think)? It's her best song yet.

plus her old song "make you feel ny love" has shot back into the top5 after 41weeks in the chart. OK its an old song but its presence in the charts for nearly a year has kept her name up there whilst she has been recording her new album.

there's plenty of room for her and nobody else like her.

Rolling in the deep is also breaking big globally. No1 Italy and top 3 Germany already...set to be a euro smash. Also creating huge buzz in usa before its release.

Looks set to be a massive year for Adele. Her album has huge pre-orders on Amazon.

Adele is ahead by a few hundred copies, Bruno will overtake her later in the week so sadly she won't get her first UK #1. Britney is hardly lagging, she was released a day later than all the other new releases and is already at #4 on iTunes.

But I do agree about 2011 being a big year for Adele, I could even see her picking up a Grammy for 21 at next year's awards.
