It's much, much better than the UK version. I still don't rate it that high though.

They completely contorted Gervais's concept of a real and true look into office life and whipped it into just another 'whacky' sitcom that lacks any realism. It's garbage.

Blasphemy.

The whole concept of the show was that it mirrors real life work environments, not Schrute pulling silly faces and 7 series of exaggerated characters.

It's just horrible to watch as a fan of the original, because it was perfect.

And the whole concept of the American one is that it doesn't.

I don't bother comparing the two. Give me the whacky sitcom over the boring UK version. It grows weary fast, with me.
