In a conversation with friends.

Light friendly banter or Deep and meaningful conversations getting to know people on a deeper level?

Both - it very much depends on the company and the mood everyone is in.

Nothing quite so good for the soul as the nonsensical, quick fire, witty banter - and at the opposite end: the real, deep convos can be as fulfilling - just in a different way.

I often start with banter but eventually if we both feel comfortable we end up talking and having deep conversations. I love moments like that, when you realise how much of a friend they are.

One of those obvious answer question, isin't it. Kind of need/like/want both just depends on set and setting.

Not necessarily, some people can find deep conversations very uncomfortable and others can find banter unfulfilling. Also I asked which you prefer because obviously both are done by pretty much everyone.

You are correct Charlie. Not everyone is comfy with in-depth meaningful conversations - it is a personal thing.

More to the point, not everyone is capable of being able to hold such conversations.
