When BB started, i didn't really like or dislike Paul, he was inoffensive but slightly boring.
But the night of the dinner date, Paul showed just what a gentleman he was, he could have done the dirty deed many times after that, but he didn't because he had respect for the woman he was with  That is a very attractive trait, and i've loved him ever since
