I think people are just listing band members they don't like rather than useless members... Girls Aloud, whether you like them or not, all sing in their songs, they all get solo lines. Jason Orange is a perfect example of a useless band member. I'll think about this too.

He is not useless! He sings leads on album tracks, he plays guitar, harmonies and bvs, he's the most amazing dancer, he's lovely and fits perfectly into the group dynamic, the band wouldn't be the same without him.
