I agree with every single one of the above posts. Mods should always appear online. When a thread is closed - no further comments should be allowed. At all. Then during any game I'll run from now on, I'll step down from my mod position whilst running it. I personally don't see the big issue with appearing online, I see it as another excuse to have a pop at us. When I was a member it did not bother me one iota if a mod appeared online because you generally know that at least one will be there at any given time as there are so many of us...
