Challenge is on the sdn owned mux A and there is nothing in the Mux A license that offers the same security. I am hoping its challenges slot that bid media are selling I really am.

And btw I am roped into watching tna because other people visit me on TNA day. Tna would be good without vince russo been the script writer I always say that but I have noticed a few times now he has re used wwe and wcw story lines that he wrote when he was with those companies. Fire russo then tna would be onto a winner.
on the challenge leaving freeview point i will say this a channel is leaving freeview we no this but i really cant see sky letting any one else have a 24/7 slot and i dont think there would put a other channel on or there would of already done by now as for bidtv that can go

as for russo i will fire him when i take over TNA in the next 10 years or so

TNA Beats WWE In UK Ratings

TheIanHamilton.com notes that TNA is beating WWE in the UK ratings. Raw on 7/25 drew 156,000 viewers and drew 129,000 viewers on 8/1. Smackdown on 7/29 drew 128,000 viewers and 126,000 viewers on 8/5. TNA Impact Wrestling on 7/26 drew 231,000 viewers and 297,000 viewers on 8/2. That last figure of 297,000 is a record number in the UK.
However it must be noted that TNA airs on free TV, while WWE is on the subscription Sky service.

Courtesy of the Broadcaster's Audience Research Board (BARB) here are the UK TV ratings for wrestling programming that ranked in the top 10's for their respective channels on the week ending August 7th 2011:

1 TNA PRESENTS IMPACT WRESTLING (Tue, Challenge , 2200) 297,000
2 WWE LATE NIGHT RAW – LIVE (Mon, Sky Sport 3, 2600) 129,000

6 WWE NXT (Thu, Sky Sports 4, 2400) 28,000
7 WWE BOTTOM LINE (Sat, Sky Sports 4, 1331) 25,000

It's another impressive showing from IMPACT Wrestling on Challenge as it not only remains the most watched wrestling show in the UK and Ireland, but breaks it's all time viewership record with a whopping 297,000 viewers, breaking the previous record of 282,000 set just two weeks ago. The show garnered 297,000 viewers (Up 63,000 viewers [21.2%] from last week) for the Tuesday August 2nd episode headlined by a superb Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson steel cage match.

WWE RAW drew 129,000 viewers (Down 27,000 viewers [17.3%] from last week 156,000) for it's Monday August 1st episode which featured CM Punk's re-signing with WWE, the announcement of the Undisputed WWE Title match for Summerslam and an Alberto Del Rio vs. Evan Bourne main event.

Both IMPACT Wrestling and RAW remain the most watched shows on their respective channels.

WWE's other flagship show, Smackdown, garnered (Down 2,000 viewers [1.56%] from last week 128,000) 126,000 viewers for the Friday August 5th edition which was headlined by a Randy Orton & John Morrison vs. Christian & R-Truth Main Event.

Here's how the total's look for the year to date since IMPACT's return to UK Television on Challenge:

Weekly Ratings Wins so far (2011)*:
IMPACT Wrestling – 22
WWE RAW – 2
WWE Smackdown – 2

Impact Wrestling will now be broadcast on Sunday nights in the UK and Ireland after winning record ratings on Challenge TV.
The show – which features Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson, the TNA Knockouts and many other huge wrestling stars – will now air every Sunday night at the earlier time of 9:00pm starting this Sunday, August 28.
A repeat of the episode will then be shown every Tuesday at 10pm in Impact Wrestling’s current slot.
The move to an earlier day in the week is due to fan feedback, with British and Irish fans using social media to request transmission closer to the US airing of Thursday nights.
It is also a recognition of the ratings Impact Wrestling has received since starting on Challenge in February. In the last six months, the programme has doubled its audience and become the most watched weekly wrestling show on British television of the last 10 years.
Companion show TNA Xplosion recently moved to a prime time slot on Challenge and is broadcast every Wednesday night at 10pm. Impact Wrestling’s monthly PPV events will also continue to go out on a Wednesday night at 10pm, with Xplosion moving to midnight on Tuesday on those weeks.
Challenge is part of Sky TV and can be found on Sky channel 125, Freeview channel 46 and Virgin Media channel 139.
Andy Barton, Impact Wrestling’s Executive Vice President, said: “We’re thrilled with the success we’ve been enjoying in the UK and were determined to reward the fans by giving them exactly what they’ve been asking for – Impact Wrestling earlier in the week.”
“Sunday nights will never be the same again!”
Barbara Gibbon, Sky’s Director of Production for Sky Entertainment Channels, added: “We are delighted to be working with Impact Wrestling at this exciting time.”
“British and Irish fans are among the most ardent in the world – and we are thrilled to be able to bring them all the latest action on Challenge.”
