If he had the flu he wouldn't be sitting at a computer, and he wouldn't have gone out with his mates on Saturday. Flu makes you feel like you're dying. Unfortunately, people get a cold and call it the flu.

It's one of my pet hates

I remember a doctor saying that for 'flu you do the £50 test. If a £50 note wafted outside your window, if you have a cold/bug you'll go out and get it. If you have 'flu you'd just leave it be, not caring less

It could be the starting of the flu.

But if he's still not got the full on symptoms from it by now then it's just a bug.

True though. I've only ever had 'flu once as an adult and I was hallucinating and at one point crawling. Was Christmas too

I only had flu once in November 2005. I spent literally a week on the sofa eating bits of bread every six hours, lol. I lost loads of weight. I remember it was when I'm a Celeb was on.

I had similar symptoms. The hospital told me I had the campylobacter virus. I'm much better now but i had to take 3 weeks off work. Its probably some sort of virus you have. I would go to the doctor as we cannot really diagnose you as we are not professionally trained. hope you feel better soon though.

Turned out to be quite bad bronchitis in the end after doing some tests. Said it was a good job I went doctors as It could have quite easily developed into pneumonia if I didn't get treatment for it. Had no idea why it was so bad though Am feeling much better now though..
