Having the insanely smug Mark Wright on an actual TV show was bad enough but now TOWIE’s set to get even more with the addition of another person we’ll hate – Jack Tweed.

Jade Goody’s widower husband and general rotter has been going out with Mark’s sister Jessica for the past couple of weeks apparently and are said to be at it like rabbits.

The makers of the show haven’t been keen for Jack to appear before, because of his bad reputation and that whole nasty rape trial business (which he was actually cleared of to be fair) and have managed to gloss over the fact he lives with Mark – even though they’ve filmed at the flat.

But now it seems they’ve given in.

“Now Jack is dating Jessica it gives him an excuse to star in the programme,” some Essex gob told The People. “There were massive problems with him being in it before. The show doesn’t take itself too seriously but there were always concerns about having someone on who had been involved in a rape trial.

On no, not Jack "the Spurter" AKA "2-Terms" Tweedy .....

JADE Goody’s widower Jack Tweed and The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright are to stand trial over a brawl.

Tweed, 23, Wright, 24, and Tweed’s brother Lewis, 20, deny attacking Tom Grantham, 21, outside Deuces Bar and Lounge – owned by Wright – on January 3.

They were bailed yesterday to appear before Redbridge magistrates, North-East London, on August 3, accused of abusive behaviour.

Jack Tweed, the widower of reality TV star Jade Goody, has admitted attacking a man during a scuffle outside a nightclub in Essex.

Tweed, 24, pleaded guilty at Redbridge Magistrates' Court to common assault outside Deuces Bar and Lounge, in Chigwell, on 3 January.

Tom Grantham, 21, a builder, was knocked unconscious in the attack. He suffered a black eye and bruised face.

Tweed, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, made the plea as his trial was due to begin.

His younger brother, Lewis Tweed, 21, of Roebuck Lane, Buckhurst Hill, also admitted common assault.

REALITY television star Mark Wright made an appearance in court today (Wednesday, August 3).

The former left-back for Bishop’s Stortford Football Club, who is now one of the main characters in The Only Way is Essex on ITV 2, was at Redbridge Magistrates Court, accused of using threatening behaviour towards builder Tom Grantham.

He appeared alongside friend Jack Tweed, the widower of Big Brother star Jade Goody, who admitted assaulting the man outside a nightclub.

But no "guilty" plea ?

The court heard Jack Tweed punched Tom Grantham in the head outside the venue on 3 January this year, before his brother Lewis Tweed - pleading guilty to common assault alongside his older brother - apparently punched and kicked the victim while he lay on the ground.

Police officers found Lewis at the scene, but Jack had already left.

He attended a police station two days later, where he gave a 'no comment' interview.

The brothers cited provocation from the claimant prior to the incident, which Alex Matic, prosecuting, described as appearing to be 'drink fuelled'.

The defendants expressed regret that the incident should have taken place at all.

Jack and Lewis were told they would be sentenced on August 16 after pre-sentence reports have been conducted.

Both were released on unconditional bail.

This is the THIRD time that Jungle Jack has been up before a court for violence (FOURTH including the rape charge) - I'm beginning to think that he needs "treatment" while he's (hopefully) banged up - maybe a little ECT with daily enemas .....

Mark Wright stands accused of using threatening behaviour towards Mr Grantham, a charge which he denies.

His trial begins this afternoon.

He'll get a nominal fine and be bound over, probably ..... let's hope he's not picked up bad habits from the Tweeds .....

CCTV footage showed Jack Tweed punching builder Tom Grantham in the head, said prosecutor Alex Matic, who described the incident as “drink fuelled.”

Lewis Tweed was filmed kicking the victim in the groin and aiming a punch in the victim’s face, added Mr Matic.

Twenty one-year-old Grantham was knocked out by the attack

Tweed vowed after the death of Goody that he was going to grow up, stay out of trouble and “be the man that Jade wanted me to be”.

But within weeks, tales of drunken nights with a series of young women emerged in the national press.

In September 2009 he was accused of raping a 19-year-old student but was cleared in April 2010.

He has been jailed twice in the past, once for drunkenly attacking a taxi driver after a night out in Epping, Essex, in May 2008, and once for an attack on a 16-year-old boy who he hit with a golf club in Ongar, Essex, in December 2006.

He was on curfew after his release from prison when he married Goody in February 2009.

Tweedy's never had a job and, with a record like that, he'll never get one ..... it's a shame we don't have penal colonies any more .....

TV star Mark Wright cleared over club incident

Reality TV personality Mark Wright has been found not guilty of using threatening behaviour towards a man outside a nightclub.

Wright told police he "saw red" after hearing Tom Grantham, 21, say he was going to throw a brick through the window of Deuces Bar and Lounge, an Essex bar in which he had invested money.

A court heard a tussle ensued but Wright, who appears on the series The Only Way Is Essex, claimed he only wanted to protect himself.

The 24-year-old held his head in his hands as he was cleared at Redbridge Magistrates' Court in Essex, and appeared close to tears.

The decision, read out by magistrate Glen Pierre, was applauded by members of his family sitting in the public gallery.

After he was released from the dock, Wright, wearing a grey suit with a white shirt and black tie, embraced his grandfather in the courtroom.

His solicitor said outside court that the television star was "overwhelmed".

CONVICTED thug Jack Tweed claims his violent reputation is down to constant bad luck and being stupid.

The 24-year-old admitted common assault in court last week after a brawl at his Essex bar.

But in a candid chat with the Daily Star Sunday Jack, who now has three convictions, said people have the wrong impression of him.

He exclusively admitted: “I’ve had three fights in my life and I’ve been caught for every single one of them.

“No one can say they’ve never had an argument or a fight in their life, because everyone has. But I’ve just been caught for them.

“I’m not a horrible person and I’ve not got horrible intentions. I don’t go out robbing old people or being mean to people.” Jack appeared at Redbridge magistrates’ court, in Ilford, Essex, on Wednesday after a fight at Deuces bar and Lounge in Chigwell, last January.

He co-owns the nightspot with The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright, 24, who was cleared of any wrongdoing by magistrates over his involvement in the fracas.

And Jack, who could be jailed when he is sentenced on August 16, admitted he went through hell in the months leading up to the case.

He told us: “It’s been horrible having it hanging over me. It’s been in the back of my mind so it’s been hard carrying on as normal every day.”

Jack admitted being in the public eye made it harder for him to repair his reputation, which was left in tatters by his third conviction.

He revealed: “Because I’m famous my mistakes are in the newspapers and on the TV. It’s makes it much harder for me.

“Whenever I make one mistake everybody calls me a scumbag and says I’m a vile piece of work.

“I’m not saying I’m perfect – I’m just a normal human being who has done a few stupid things in my life.

“I get tired of people thinking I’m bad. I’m not a badboy. I’ve done good things as well. People have this opinion of me and I can’t seem to change it.”

Trouble has a habit of following Mark Wright and Jack Tweed around.

Following a night out at Sugar Hut in Brentwood last night, the pair and their pals made it only a few feet before being pulled over by traffic cops.

Fortunately neither Mark nor Jack was driving (though Tweed happily flashed a bottle of beer around for the paps).

Unfortunately, their friend behind the wheel was breathalysed, found to be over the limit, handcuffed and whisked away by the police.

According to the Daily Mail, Tweed and Wright were forced to follow their drink-driving pal to the police station in order to collect their belongings... thankfully, they had the good sense to get a cab home.

They must be on first-name terms with the local constabulary - Tweed, in particular, must have had 20 or more "run-ins" with the police since he was 18 .....

JADE Goody's widower Jack Tweed has been spared jail for belting a man outside a club - but was ordered to "grow up" by furious JPs.

Tweed, 24, punched Tom Graham in the back of the head in January a MINUTE after arriving at Deuces Bar and Lounge in Chigwell, Essex.

Yesterday magistrates handed him an 18-month supervision order, 100 hours of unpaid work and told him to complete a programme to prevent re-offending.

Tweed, who was also ordered to pay Ł625 costs, was rapped by chair of magistrates Susan Mann.

She told him: "I think you now understand that this has got to stop. You get yourself into trouble, you drink, you hit someone and try to kick them, that's not the answer.Grow up, stop all this, move on."

He pleaded guilty to common assault at the start of the month, before his trial was due to start at Redbridge Magistrates' Court in North East London.

The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant - who is friends with 'TOWIE' hunk Mark Wright and has been romantically linked to the nightclub promoter's sister Jessica Wright - was rumoured to be set for a role on the forthcoming series of the ITV2 reality show, but he is said to be regarded as being too famous.

According to The Sun newspaper, show bosses will not allow Jack - who was widowed when his late wife Jade Goody passed away in 2009 - to appear on the programme because they do not want the cast to consider themselves as "celebrities".

Amy Childs - who shot to fame on TOWIE before quitting to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother' earlier this year - is thought to have been axed from the third season, which begins on Sunday (25.09.11), for being too preoccupied with becoming a celebrity.

Producer Ruth Wrigley recently said: "Amy wasn't big in series two because she stopped having a real life. She was writing columns and waiting for filming."
