Bowie was more than music to any of us that grew up with him, his creations of Alladin Sane and Ziggy Stardust were revolutionary and we 'lived' him. If he is retired now, he obviously feels he has nothing to add to the current music industry or he has other projects to pursue and he's always been right with his timing, so it's the right thing for him..............to see him perform again though......................O M G!

Bowie was an innovator in the music industry he broadened peoples views on sexuality and lifestyle. He was the master of reinvention years before Madonna was ever heard of and the master of performance and showmanship before Ga Ga was born. I don't know him, so I can't say I don't like him ..... but I CAN have an opinion about his contribution to the entertainment industry - I put him in the same category as Elton John and you put him in the same category as Madonna and Ga Ga - that says it all, Bowie was all about marketing style and presentation .....
