DAVID NGOG should complete his protracted Ł4m move to Bolton Wanderers from Liverpool FC today.

The 22-year-old Frenchman has been a long-time target of Trotters boss Owen Coyle, who is desperate to add a striker to his ranks before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

A fee for the former Paris St Germain forward has been agreed in principle between the two clubs, and Bolton are prepared to match Ngog’s Anfield salary, having already missed out on number one target Daniel Sturridge this summer.

Ngog is now expected to travel to the Reebok Stadium to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical, and a deal should be announced before the closure of the transfer window tomorrow evening.

We brought him last summer for 4 Mil so selling him for double the price would be a good bit of business but i hope we can hang onto him til January at least.. our strikers options are Lafferty ( Improved a lot lately but won't be a 20 goal a season striker ) Naismith ( If he stays fit he will score a lot but tends to be inconsistent ) David Healy ( pretty average right now ) James Beattie ( Shockingly ****e can't remember the last time he scored a goal for anyone ) and then Celtic have Commons, Hooper, Stokes and now Bangura. Ally Mccoist is going to be the Arsene Wenger of the SPL and try push the youth players through and not spend much at at all by the looks of things.

Exactly, the player has turned down offers from European clubs to stay at Lazio so not sure what to believe in this rumour.
