I'm a bit shocked that given her Global Success, 'record album sales etc' - that £2m, that was it. Wouldn't even buy a half decent house in some areas.

On the back of such heavy spending since, £8m spent in 3 years, leaving only £2m, if Amy would have stayed alive - she'd have been a bankrupt, probably losing her house and all else.

It's fine saying she was a generous soul: but come on. Hell of a price to pay for having a bit of fun....... it cost her her life. no matter which way you look at it: death is a hefty price to pay for having some fun.

That is enlightening, she likely would have had nothing in a short while longer on those figures.

My thought ...if I am very honest.... is that if she would have continued to spent the way she was doing - god forbid, but would her last years have been spent losing her home, squatting at friends houses (and I don't mean the more affluent, nicer, head firmly placed on shoulder, friends), trying to scratch a living in down beat skanky clubs etc. for all I hated seeing what she did with her life: I'd never wish that type of downward spirral on anyone. She looked hellish with all the trapping of success and financial comfort, what would the impact have been if she'd continued on that same path (and hadnt' died suddenly).

In a terribly warped way: it may be have been for the best that things ended the way the did.
