We didn't start the war, but more American's have died in the wars in the middle east than died on 9/11 which is why the wars began anyway. Thankfully the technology exists now to keep our young men and women in uniform out of uneccessary danger.
My only fear about putting these facilities in other countries though, is that the technology can be stolen by the chinese or other enemies more easily. But hopefully there will be air-tight security.

Can you clarify what you mean. I ask because I had a husband out in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm.......way back in the early 1990's.... a long time before 9/11.
