It may not be her fault ? She led him on and allowed him to think there was something between then - but how do you explain her giving hope to him by shouting back, "I love you too babes". You've been making great mention of emotional connections of late - she's more than well aware that Aden has an emotional connection to her - why then if you think Aden's taken it too seriously, that she is aware of that - why would she play mind games with him like that?

Bearing in mind - this is a guy she's meant to care about, wouldn't hurt him blah blah blah.
