THE Only Way Is Essex babe Sam Faiers needed an emergency brain scan after she was beaten unconscious by a girl gang. Her sister Billie was also attacked.

The Only Way Is Essex babe Sam Faiers was beaten unconscious and left for dead in a vicious attack by 10 girl thugs.

The reality star was rushed to hospital where doctors gave her an emergency brain scan.

Sam, 20, also suffered two black eyes, a swollen nose, bruises and scratches. Her sister Billie, 21, was assaulted too.

Last night a spokesman for the pair said: “It was an unprovoked and horrific attack.”

Sam and Billie had gone into London’s West End on Saturday for a night out with a friend and ended up at The Jet Black Club off Tottenham Court Road.

However, trouble broke out when a gang of girls targeted Billie and stole her £2,500 Mulberry handbag containing her mobile phone and cash.

She complained to bouncers and they threw the culprits out.

But as upset Billie left to go home, she was set upon by a screaming group.

In front of clubbers outside, one girl grabbed her and pulled her hair shouting: “You slag”.

She was then pushed to the ground. Onlookers claim she was punched.

The attack was captured on the club’s CCTV cameras. Footage also leaked on to YouTube last night from a witness.

Shaken Billie, who was nursing a split lip, got a cab back to a friend’s house in Essex.

Minutes later Sam got a call from the thieves who were using her sister’s phone.

They said they would hand it back to her if she met them in a field at Repton Park in Chigwell, Essex.

Sam and a pal agreed to meet them to retrieve it.

However when they arrived in the early hours, fashion designer Sam was pounced on by 10 girls. They kicked and punched her to the ground.

Then they continued to beat her even though she screamed and begged them to stop.

The gang fled because they thought they had killed her. Her pal, who was also attacked, pulled her into a taxi.

Sam was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital in nearby Leytonstone, east London.

She was later joined by Billie. Both sisters were kept in hospital overnight.

They were only discharged late yesterday afternoon.

No-one at the London club was available for comment last night.

Police in Brentwood were set to interview the sisters last night about their attacks.
