This week she announced she's managed to clear her hefty debts, and now things are looking up for troubled star Kerry Katona even more.

The former pop star has declared her love for artist Steve Alce, insisting he is The One after meeting him at a charity dinner just a few weeks ago.

With two failed marriages behind her, the 31-year-old has failed to settle down again as she continued to fall for a number of disastrous suitors.

But despite her previous mishaps, Kerry is convinced this time she's found a man who doesn't want to be with her for her fame.

And although it's only early days, Kerry has already fallen head over heels for the 34-year-old.

The besotted star tells the Daily Mirror: 'I’m in love with him. I really, really like him. He is lovely... kind and caring.

'Steve is so unlike other men I have been with and I can honestly say I have never felt this *strongly about anyone before.

'He is not with me because of my fame and wants to stay out of the limelight. He likes Kerry being Kerry and takes me for who I am.

'He is quiet and thoughtful – almost mysterious – which I love.'

The pair met at a Sportsman's Dinner last month, which Kerry attended with her Celebrity Big Brother pal Paddy Doherty.

And Steve, from Lewisham, east London, appears to be just as loved up with the reality star.

The pair were spotted laughing and enjoying each other's company as they spent time near Kerry's Surrey home over the weekend.

Steve and Kerry shared a tender kiss and went for a romantic stroll in a nearby park on Saturday afternoon.

Kerry, who has four children, including two from her marriage to Westlife star Brian McFadden, is also celebrating after clearing the remainder of her debt.

The former Atomic Kitten star used some of her £350,000 appearance fee for her sting on Celebrity Big Brother to clear the enormous debts, which at one point reached £417,000.

It looks like there's at least one person who is taking their fascination with Kerry Katona a little bit far.

Or should that be - there's at least one person who's fascinated by Kerry Katona. I'm surprised...

Kerry's stalker is American, but surely there are much bigger stars to stalk across the pond?

Anyway, this weekend Kerry had to give the police a call when she found out that someone had been watching her get changed.

She told the Sunday Mirror that her publicist Max Clifford had let her know what was going on:

"I was getting dressed and there was a phone call to Max's company from this lady saying she'd been watching me *getting changed.

"The thing was I had been naked and putting my clothes on minutes before.

"So I panicked and called the *police. But this woman has been *annoying us all for weeks now. At the end of the day I've got four kids, live in a big house and have to take this sort of thing seriously.

"This is the first time I've felt genuinely scared about a stalker. I won't let this beat me though. I'm finally getting my life on track and nothing is going to stand in my way."

This isn't the first stalker for Kerry though, back in 2009 a fan started showing up at her mansion in Cheshire too.

What I especially noticed about that quote is it's all about her 'yet again', no mention of concern for her family really. How selfish a human being is she to always seeming to be putting herself before her immediate family.

I know a few on this site do like her, but I can't stand the woman, and doubt I ever will as she never projects herself in the media or otherwise to endear me to her. I always feel sorry for those daughters of hers, fearing they might not be getting enough mother or granny love Does she just save her love for the next bunk up?

WTF has her living in a big house got to do with the price of fish!! If living in a big house is such an issue: I suggest she moves in with Ma.... no one would want to go anywhere near her then.

I thought she'd redeemed herself after IAC, gave her another chance. Then old Crofty came along........

Once she got in tow with CAN - I thought, okay, looks like common sense has finally kicked in...... but nope.

Far as I'm concerned, she's had more chances than anyone.

Kerry's manager (sic) Max Clifford decided to contact police after the woman, an American woman named Stella, told her agent that she had been watching Kerry get changed at her home.

Clifford told MailOnline that the woman had been calling his office constantly.

He said: "She's just a very sad lady. She's been phoning my office for about two months now, sometimes 20 times a day.

"She's a lesbian who claims that she and Kerry are destined to be together, she wants to meet her, she thinks she can help her.

"Sometimes she calls and just plays Atomic Kitten down the phone or gets her mother to call us pretending to be her agent.

Besotted Kerry, 31, has been dating part-time artist and *warehouse worker Steve Alce for just three months.

But after spending Christmas and New Year with him at her luxury home in Surrey she has told friends she wants a “big, white *wedding” some time this year.

A friend of the former Atomic Kitten said: “Kerry is telling people she really loves Steve and wants to be with him.

“She’s head-over-heels in love and thinks he’s a posh southern gent. She thinks he’s good for her because he sometimes wears a suit and told her off recently for swearing in front of the kids.”

Twice-married Kerry met Steve, 34, at a sports dinner in October.

He has told the mother of his two children about Kerry and she has given him her blessing.

Am I missing something here? I thought her former management wrote off her bill, and I am sure Kerry Katona has been on TV quite a bit of late, and must do PA stuff, and get paid for both, so why is she skint again and owing such a large amount of money? She has been out on the town hasn't she? so she must have money, unless she is blowing it elsewhere again. Or this is just another way for her to stay in the media spotlight if she is fading back into nothingness again.

Kerry Katona has dumped celebrity agent Max Clifford, the man who saved her from bankruptcy.

The troubled star got her new agent to email the PR guru on Friday to tell him she no longer needs his services.

He is now furious, as he took her on when she was at her lowest ebb and helped her get her career back on track.

A friend of Max said: “To say he is livid is an under*statement. Kerry’s behaviour is a real slap in the face. He has treated her like a daughter... and after all he’s done for her she couldn’t even be bothered to pick up and phone and talk it through.”

Max took Kerry on to his books after she fell out with her former agent Claire Powell. She was almost bankrupt and rumoured to have fallen back into her old habits of drinking and partying.

Max landed her a £200,000 appearance on Celebrity Big Brother and won her tens of thousands through a string of lucrative magazine deals and a slot on This *Morning as a Dancing On Ice expert.

He had even made moves towards *getting her a starring role in a TV show as well as fixing her up with an acting casting agency.

Kerry is now being represented by Martin O’Shea, her agent from Atomic Kitten days.

This is the second time she has dumped Max Clifford.

Back in 2008 she split from him after he raised concerns about her drinking.

Is this the end for Katona ?
