I'm no fan of Nicola, but that just makes her drunk, not a slut. She also seems as though she's loyal to her family. She has serious personal flaws, but I don't believe sluttery is one.

Because people are different. We don't all have your self control. When I was younger, especially, I tried to get as drunk as I could, and as quickly as possible, it's just what we did.

What needs to be excused? She flirted with Frankie and got too drunk to have real control over what she was doing, and because she'd drank so much, she was unable to recall what happened the previous night.

We don't need to excuse her behaviour, that's for her and her family. We can only make personal judgments.

I'm just explaining that drinking too much has the ability to do these things to you, and I know from personal experience, and the experiences of my peers.

Things in this world are rarely so cut and dry.

She acted like a bit of a twat, and that's it.
