I mean earlier on, I accept that Denise has long since gone way past the line, but he was rather rude to her at the dinner table. For me that's where the whole incedent sparks from.

And given that that was the day after she went into the bedroom, started getting aggressive with him, telling him to ******* off (several times) - all because he wouldn't tell her why and what he discussed in the diary room and why he went in there so often.

I'd not be too pleasant to someone who treated me like that the previous night - someone who was too drunk to even realise how bang out of order she was - and not have the decency to apologise.

Civility works two ways - you get the respect you deserve - and he gives her the respect she not only deserves: but has earned: and that is NONE.

Given the manner in which he has held his tongue and been as calm as he has been until recently telling her to ******* off - given that he's taken almost a week to get to that stage - he's to be completely admired for his self control.

Of course they do - that's because no-one witnessed the first occasion when Denise was drunk and crudely verbally abused Michael in the bedroom. She then told HER version of events to the coven and anyone else who would listen, passing it off as harmless banter and joking around, and subsequently embellished the lie by deliberately baiting Michael in a fake jovial way to demonstrate to everyone that she's only trying to be nice when Michael just wants her to keep her distance. She the used his natural rejection of her to her advantage because she's a manipulative bitch.

The time she was "punching" him and aggressively harrassing him in the bedroom, again there was no-one there to see the true nature of her "banter". She has successfully managed to stitch Michael up in the house, but thankfully those of us viewers who have eyes, ears and minds of our own see her for the drunken, spiteful harridan she really is when she doesn't get her own way.

Because Denise is sleekit and sly. The bedroom stuff always takes place when it's Michael is in there alone, and she goes in to harrass him - he doesn't come out and discuss it with everyone.

Denise however, DOES discuss these incidents with anyone and everyone, and twists it to make it sound as though she's just being very friendly, having a bit of banter - and that he is the aggressor - when a blind person can see it's her.

I remember that thing at the dinner table. When she had a mouth full of food and was asking him questions with her gob full... disgusting. I'd have ignored her too. He was already riled because of her behaviour previously. The woman has the manners of a pig.

it was the same when he was on the sofa, her on the other one with a mug of tea, stuffing half biscuits into her gob then shouting at him - pigs have more manners - they tend to keep their heads down when they're eating.
