As Angus said really it should be a mutural job between Parents and Teachers,if even one half is being to lazy to help then your more than likely gonna see the child turn into a hazard to society than help.

Exactly! A lot of schools hands are tied due to staffing, funding and time constrictions connected with this...
The government need to wake up and realise you cannot expect headteachers to be miracle workers.

In some cultures murder for some offences is acceptable...that is the problem the cultural/ethical/moral diferences.
Abortion is a taboo subject it may be discussed in schools ....but due to the religous and ethical nature im guessing it won't be.
