If they magically just changed gender: that would not necessarily be their choice then? They might not be too happy with it, never mind their partner!

If I don't find men attractive now, why would I because He was previously my girlfriend. I have friends that I'm more compatible with, personality-wise, than any girl I've ever had a relationship with.

Part of being in a healthy relationship, is continuing to find the other person attractive in a way that incorporates all areas, personality, looks, humour etc.

If the question was "if your partner had a complete personality reversal, and turned into the opposite of how they currently are, would you stay with them?", then the poll would be unanimous, but because people view "the physical" in the relationship as more shallow, then some would say they would, when in ll probability, they wouldn't.

People break up all the time. Isn't divorce something like 60%? A reason like this, is more than justifiable.
