What if it was surgery that went wrong but that no one knew about though. That can and does happen but outsiders aren't always aware of it. Would be a shame to class someone ugly through no fault of their own.

..I think that's what happened with Pete Burns..I'm sure he said something like that once...but the 'ugly' with a lot of celebrities..older ones..I think comes from the quest for youthful looks..and it works for a while..I think Sharon Osborne looked great..but I think it's quite sad that they don't seem to know when to stop

As well as many others.....which is why I asked the question. People who undergo surgery to restore a physical feature for whatever reason - Danielle Westbrook as an example.

That didn't turn out right and led to a few attempts to repair and many would class her as ugly because of it. That was corrective surgery - not cosmetic.

All I'm saying is: not everything is as clean cut as it sometimes appears to be.
