BBUS is not BBUK. Public evictions undermine the BBUS concept and would just mean awful people like Jeff will survive just because they make the cat ladies wet.

And we do not need 17+ houseguests. It just means even more people will be ignored.

Agreed. I think it would be an absolutely disastrous move for them to give the public control of who goes. Rachel would have been out first week in both her seasons had that been the case and Jeff would have probably won.

One thing I love about BBUS is that the big characters stay in for ages unlike in BBUK where as soon as they're up for eviction, they're usually evicted. If they allowed the public to vote it would only benefit the dullards and the floaters.

Anyway as much as I used to think that the public needed to have a bigger role in evictions I've kind of backed off that idea now. Tbh they probably would just get rid of the big characters. So I hope that's not it, because big characters carry the show.
The 4 big surprises really got me excited, hopefully one of the surprises is a change to the game rules or something. I remember the rules used to be tweaked each summer for the first seven seasons. The last being in BB7 when they made the veto player selection random.

Hopefully it's not a crappy season long twist like last year. I hope it's just 14 HGs on launch night and new HGs somewhere down the line. My hope for the 4 surprises are:
1. New layout
2. New game rules/rule changes
3. New HGs
4. Don't really know what the last could be

They wil each have a team of 4 people of their choice. They will win money or prizes based on their teams performance in competitons. (My God it sounds like X Factor)

Surprise 2 - Updated house with more rooms
Surprise 3 - 1 MILLION DOLLAR GRAND PRIZE

There's more houseguests and the requirements for the LF this year are the highest yet and the fact that the resolution is 1280x720 makes me thing they're installing HD cams.

So the possibility of a new house is likely just because there's HD cameras they have to install so they're giving the house a facelift.

I hope that when they reveal the surprises they tell us that they are surprises because I'm so oblivious that they could happen and I wouldn't notice.

There commercials says that this year will have the most hgs EVER. Meaning 17 or more since BB9 started with 16. We're just speculating how many hgs will be on the show this year

Maybe they've changed the schedule this year. Maybe it's longer or there's going to be a super eviction where 18 becomes 12 via public vote.

I hope not. I think that they can come up with something a little more creative. Not just one massive eviction. I would hope it would be a couple of extra double evictions, new HGs, mentors, power couple twist, just anything besides one huge eviction.
Also if that one mentor/team twist was true, would those returning mentors be considered HGs even though they can't win? And that's what makes me think that wouldn't be the twist because the mentors wouldn't be HGs. But who knows, I'm basing this all on semantics.
