More to the point, why not someone who actually had "people" in the sense she's using the word? She's describing a civil rights leader like some kind of cult leader, and in that way, her comment is even more offensive than simply picking at Adam again.

She doesn't like Adam, and she's fairly open about it. I don't see what the big deal is. Being compared to MLK is a compliment if anything, people read to much into it. Because Adam is black and MLK is, she's automatically racist? People will jump on anything this girl says, its crazy.
