I think this is how she acts when she feels unsure or uncomfortable, I do know people who laugh a lot at things others maybe wouldn't,(for instance,I know someone who cannot stop laughing at funerals). I think it is just how Caroline is.

Lol I'm a bit like that. I had a daydream once of myself dying during a conversation and I just could not contain myself.
