I agree, Martin has never forgotton that he is being filmed, I suppose it is hard to blame him, future roles could be dictated by how he is perceived in there, but apart from being a nice guy we have learned nothing about him. Maybe that is exactly what he is...a nice guy.

I agree with this. Martin is a nice person and his son said he was just like that at home. When you have recovered from two brain tumours I imagine it is hard to get upset or angry about what is after all a game. He warned the boys that Julie could do what she does because of the character she had played as Bette. Neither of those boys would ever have seen her in that role. He was thinking of their future.
However what I do not agree with is following the pack and I am glad that Julian was the one housemate to stand up for Julie.

Well why bother go in there some might ask, if you are not prepared to be real honest, warts 'n all because you scared a side of you might come out which could be at odds with your carefully crafted persona, then fine Don't risk it in the first place.

Just move along and let someone else go in who will be real.

I guess he went in for the money? dont they all....some are mentally stronger than others...I give you Leo Sawyer as a prime example of a star who was made a laughing stock. dont think we have seen him since...
