Pete already had mental health issues before he went into BB. So, the fact that he is depressed is hardly a revelation is it?

The poor guy is probably under tremendous pressure to be Mr Hilarious all the time now that he's been on the telly. It's enough to make anyone depressed.

im not suprised that he's depressed ut maybe he was saying it as a throw away comment rather than an actual mental illness.
Both my auntie and uncle have had depression and they couldnt leave the house for weeks. One of them months so i doubt it is real depression.

I just hate it when celebs go public with their private life. If their pregnant or getting married then its nice for people to know. But we dont need to know every single detail....

i dont really care anymore about pete.he let me down as a fan.i voted 10 time for him to win.and he let his band down.we have not heard from him for a long time now what going on?,so i dont care about pete really anymore if he is depreased or not.

Depression is an illness. There doesn't have to be a reason for it. Sometimes it's just hormonal changes in the body, or chemical changes in the brain.

It also affects people differently. Whilst Heather mentioned her Aunt and Uncle's reluctance to leave the house, that doesn't always happen. Sometimes the person can seem to be incredibly happy, because they are concentrating all their efforts into concealing their true feelings. Some people can be depressed for years and their closest family don't even know.

However, it might just be a casual statement, and he might just be feeling a bit down. We all get like that. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if he was genuinely clinically depressed, because he already has mental health issues, so it's not exactly foreign territory for him.
