I don't dislike him but for me he is just a run of the mill singer, he has a good voice but does nothing really to put his own stamp on the songs he sings.

I couldn't see me rushing out for a CD of him and a whole concert from him would not appeal to me from what I ahve seen on X Factor.

I agree with 08Marsh, were he to win or even get to the final,he would likely be a Steve Brookstein, modest success with a single and an album of covers and then near obscurty again after that.
He just brings nothing new or original to X factor,he has a good voice,no denying that but I find him a little boring to watch.

I agree Joey ,BUT,I see no need for the nasty comments off some of the judges,Christopher must feel so deflated sometimes and would you go out and buy a Ryland album?REALLY? I know i wouldn't so i don't see the difference between these two but Ryland is lauded for some strange reason,but we all have different tastes the judges should remember that.
