Haven't ever eaten from a *good* Advent calendar, but would love to. The chocolate ends up tasting like old waxy dog chocolate that you couldn't give away to young children.

I've never really been good with advent calendars. When I was younger the temptation would be too much and I'd each all the chocolates before day five. I don't think I've actually had one since I was.. 10 I think?

Grew out of getting them at like 13 but this thread might've tempted to get one. They don't seem to be as good as they used to be.

I haven't had an advent calendar since I was really little, we didn't even have chocolate ones then, they just had pictures behind the doors and I had to share it with my brother so only got to open every other day....but got my little boy a Thomas the tank one last year but the chocolate was rubbish (he wouldnt even eat it and he used to try and eat the cats food tats how rubbish it was) so just got him a Cadbury one this year.
