..because it's the best route to think ahead and further their career Vicky...it's actually very difficult to step up from a primary school...and males just don't apply.. we've only got one male teacher..but actually he's a brilliant teacher...the children absolutely adore him....it is a shame there aren't more...

We only had one male teacher at primary school too and we all loved him. There was always one male and they tended to only stay a year...and then we'd get another man. The government have been trying to get more guys to apply to primary though so don't think it's descrimination, I just think guys prefer to work with high school children from the reports I have read on it.
