Katie Price has handed back her engagement ring from Leandro Penna to the jewellers after the male model allegedly failed to settle the bill for it.

The glamour model, 34, ordered the pink heart-shaped ring last year after she was promised the design by the Argentine, 27, following his proposal.

However, after the pair called off their six-month engagement last October, Katie has now had to return the bauble to the jewellers.

However, Leandro insisted the ring in question had never been in his possession and it had only arrived following their break-up.

Leandro told the Daily Mirror: 'The ring in question has never been in my possession. It was a ring Katie Price designed, ordered and had delivered directly to herself from her personal jeweller. Katie took delivery after we had ended our relationship. After Katie had possession of the ring and we had ended our relationship the bill was then passed on to myself, to my surprise.

'After open dialogue between Katie’s and my own management an agreement was reached for Katie to voluntarily return the ring, ending the threat from her jeweller of civil court action.'

Is KP just spinning a line?

Katie Price has revealed she's engaged to stripper Kieran Haylor - after 3 weeks of dating.

Katie called off her engagement to Leandro Penna just 11 weeks ago and she hasn't wasted any time finding a potential third husband.

She told The Sun: “He’s a normal guy and when something feels right I just go for it.”

Katie, 34, accepted the 25-year-old's proposal on Christmas Day and revealed the pair had openly discussed marriage.

She said: "Kieran and I talked about marriage a few times and he proposed to me at Christmas over dinner."

I feel sorry for her kids, why can't she focus on being a Mother for once instead of jumping into relationships quickly or being engaged/married?

Bookies like to gamble nearly as much as Katie likes to walk up the aisle, so it’s only right that we let them have their say on her latest nuptials .

The mum of three , who got hitched for the third time on Wednesday to a lover of pumping weights and stripping off, who goes by the name of Kieran, has until July to enjoy her new husband apparently. Yeah, we know three months would have worked much better there, but we’re not in charge of the odds.

Her speedy wedding to stripping builder Kieran Hayler, 25, ended with them staring out to sea from the quay. Aaaaar.

But it all took place so quickly she didn’t even have time for the traditional pre-nuptial L-plate/naughty headdress party – and the delayed bash is now turning from hen do into hen don’t.

I’m told Katie’s chums are still reeling after the shock wedding which, as I revealed yesterday, took place in the Bahamas... less than two months after the model first clapped eyes on Kieran.

So the task of making her party a big, fun, happy occasion is, understandably, a challenging one.

Never mind, Katie, some diehard pals remain on side, with BFFs Phill Turner and Gary Cockerill taking control of the shindig.
