In that case, you might need a few more of these to drown your sorrows, blinkinlovely!

Say when!

Been away for the week-end with OH to see some friends in Jersey. Very tiring - soooooo many shops to visit, soooo many things to buy.

I'm going to need that pay rise to pay off the credit card

Acquired a fantastic French Onion soup recipe that I will pass on to chef later - perhaps he can add it to the menu - its got brandy in it.

Oh Lee go mad and have two. I think you deserve it! Try throwing things it sometimes makes you feel better. I have a soft lion on my desk and when I get annoyed I throw it at the opposite wall and it roars and says "I am a lion and I will eat you up". I also have a voodoo orange (a dried out orange with a face on it made out of pins) and I twist the pins when someone annoys me. Makes me feel better anyway You are welcome to borrow it and hex someone on your chain.

I would like to announce that I have taken the pledge.

Until some excess baggage has been removed from the ROB haunches.

Thank God for Alison and a couple of the others on Celebrity Fit Club. I was beginning to think I was heavier than all of them......

Thanks Kaz, trouble is I already did that - well it seemed like that anyway lol - at the CD recording before christmas and I swore I would NEVER drink that much JD EVER again lol. I blame Mr Hadley, I had never tried the stuff until I met him.

I will however definitely take you up on the offer of a couple of doubles lol hic

Boris - you are getting quite the entrepeneur arent you. When are you giving up the day job.

I too have given up alcohol as part of my diet, but it will not stop me coming to the bar - I shall just be on the tonic water with ice and a slice (I can then pretend its gin and tonic)

Hi, Boris!

All this news is making me very nervous!

I've just settled into my new position as Bar Manager, and now I hear that you're to be putting Boris's Bar up for sale!!!!!

I've already been made redundant once, and it wasn't a pleasant experience, so I hope you'll bear me in mind for a position in your new venture . . . . . . . . . I'm certainly open to any offers.

Oh, ROB . . . . . . . . this is for you from Busy Bee!

Just make sure all this stress doesnt turn our friendly Boris into a stressed out monster. Just take a chill pill and you will cope with it all.

Its not worth it Boris. How big are you intending this hotel to be? Hope you will give your 'regulars' preferential treatment and A DISCOUNT of course.

I'm very glad to hear this Boris. As you are expanding which will mean more work for us menials - will we be getting the commensurate remuneration?

It's so nice to know Boris's bar is there when we need it. I've felt in need of a few glasses of vino this week and I will be totally stressed out until next weekend when I fly to Belfast for two nights of great craic and laughter.

Until then lets all have good bevy in Boris's Bar. To get us through this hideous month and the prospect of cold weather and snow to come!
