Oh by that I meant for her to reply to me by PM. It's ok Josy it's just as you can see i'm trying to move on from it too, eg saying that it was a good thing for Mollie to be withdrawn. So yeah just so you see that too, and try to see me for Raph and not as 'the guy that loves Mollie', ya know?

This remained the case right up until very recently, when it was brought to my attention that there was a ploy to vote for Mollie in a mean-spirited attempt to hijack this game and what it stands for by someone with disingenuous intentions. This was brought to my attention and I saw the conversation first hand; leaving no doubt in my mind about what had taken place, so I mulled over what to do.

I considered doing nothing, but then I decided that that would be wrong, because this is, and has always been, a game which reflects the positive aspects of this forum and what the majority of people enjoy about it. In the past there have been joke campaigns to get entities such as TiBB Staff to rank highly, or well meaning campaigns to celebrate the unsung heroes of TiBB, and those are motions I can support as a host, because they are borne out of positivity and not negativity. This campaign to promote Mollie was not borne out of positivity, and it flies in the face of everything this game stands for.

As a result of all of this, my hand has unfortunately been forced, and I will be withdrawing Mollie from being nominated or voted for. If Mollie returns to the forum during the proceedings, they will be entitled to take part in the nomination and voting process like any other user, but I cannot in good faith allow someone to lead a hate filled campaign to spite this game. Therefore, and it really pains me to have to do this because it goes against everything I want for this game, I am withdrawing Kate from being nominated or voted for, as well as withdrawing her from being able to nominate or vote.

This was not a decision taken lightly. This is the first time I have ever done this. Trying to make a mockery of this game, publicly, is not something I will tolerate. This is about celebrating what makes this forum so great, it is not about rewarding malicious behaviour with more malicious behaviour; this game has been running for four years and it would be a shame for it to be derailed by negativity.

There are a lot of things I could and would like to say, but instead I will say this: what I did was of my own volition, I did not have to explain why I did what I did, but I did so in a respectful manner and made no overt or subtle digs at anyone and I do not owe anyone any explanations. The same cannot be said for the people who have been PMing me in an offensive manner, calling me names and trying to incite me into saying something back. Please afford me the same respect I am affording you, I couldn't care less about long standing feuds between people who use this forum, I was unaware of it all at the time and I'm still unaware of it now. I'm just running a game.
