I was drunk and applied for my visa online, next day it had been accepted, then all I really did was book a flight and travel insurance. That was as far as my planning went, haha.
You make it sound quite simple Ben, but you have to have a fair bit of cash behind you as well as you have to legislate for not getting a job, paying for accommodation once you get there. I'm intrigued as you landed in the UK and already got a job (so you must be very lucky with work) and got a flat, so you must have a trust fund or be very savvy with money which is is

Business people, or families of such, accrue tons of flight mileage, and therefore trips from here to there, or to way-out-there, are free. Have to build up those mileage points, Cherie!

Me? I don't do planes. Done them, yes. Over water and mountains, yes. Not a fan. Thinking of taking a raft over to see you guys there in the UK. Safe as long as the water supply holds up.

As far is work is concerned, I'd most likely go with prostitution.

Yeah SA that is kind of my point, you need a bit of backing in some shape or form to travel like that, as the jobs you will get at the other end will usually pay poorly! I await Ben's response, may be he is a prostitute

Personally this kind of travel doesn't interest me, I rather travel to places as a tourist and then come home.

..haha, I laughed out loud at that SA...but I know what you mean about flying..oddly, I used to love it when I was younger and got really excited, but if I have to fly now, I try to only go on shorter flights as I'm not comfortable until I'm back on the ground...and that's quite limiting...I do like to travel and experience different cultures though...

..I'll get right on to organising that raft building for your visit, SA..
