Ever since Jamie Sutcliffe was the live producer, we always had music on housemates evictions, drowning out the crowd reactions. Now that he's gone, and C5 are clearly trying to go back to the C4 days with bringing back VTE and having Emma (a.k.a Mini Davina) as the host, so do you think that they will also drop the countdown, the music and sirens?

I really hope they do. If they're going to go back to the C4 days, they need to go back completely, and not mix in this new TOWIE-C5 style with the classic eviction days.

What about arming the entertaining housemates with a gun on their inevitable eviction? Then they can silence the haters

To answer the question...probably not. And I still fear we're gonna have some cabaret performance on Emma's entrance.

I don't know... lets wait for someone to be evicted... maybe we'll find out!!

I hope to God they will, those Jingles for break's and the sirens when the housemate's leave is just not necessary, neither is the rewind sound effect just before the terms and conditions are about to be read out, the 'VOTING NOW CLOSED' graphic or the theme tune being played twice, neither do we need Marcus shouting 'PLEASE LEAVE THE BIG BRUVA HOUSE IMMEDIATELY!' when a housemate is being evicted, or using the end part of the credit sequence version of the theme as a jingle when anything is shown on the screen.

lol, WHY? If it isn't tense anyway there is something wrong with the show.

And the countdown was such an annoying cheap tacky thing. Also Marcus Bentley shouting his head off when a HM leaves is annoying as well.

I agree... Things may have changed but this is still very much a Channel 5 series, down to the design of the house and the eye... Both or which are still VERY Channel 5... Amidst all the "changes", all the elements of a Channel 5 series are present... We may see more elements of the show change slightly but I don't think the music is one of them... The editing style as well I believe is also here to stay... The stands and flashy nature of the outdoor stage I'm certain will also remain although modified to fit with the new styling of the show...

The music TBH is minor in comparison to some of the bigger issues of the last 4 or 5 years of BB...

Yeah I agree with you, I also hate the name tags, I find that very off putting

The name tags are okay for the first week, but after that they just need to go. They also need to get rid of that 'PREVIOUSLY ON BIG BRUVVA...' VT at the beginning of the show.

TBH the name tags are one of the few things I can actually see being dumped this year...

Not everyone watches BB on a daily basis... I think the VT serves a purpose and it's not likely to change... That being said they should dump Marcus from narrating them...
