Yes, most of what I remember of yesterday's live feed was Michael talking to Sallie...and that's the reason she was focused on. Michael is getting as much airtime on the feed as Sallie is. It was discussion provoking yesterday because all the housemates had just watched him in the diary room and had started getting suspicious of him and then he cleverly (as I wrote a post about in the live feed discussion thread) went over to Sallie and 'admitted' that he'd spoke about her behind her back in the diary room. As I explained in the post I alluded to this was a clever move because it made her think he's more genuine because he was being upfront and honest about it, and that it wasn't an act in the diary room...he genuinely meant what he said but felt sorry for it. Obviously he knew they'd watched him but he tried to divert their suspicions by making it seem like his character was upset, he even said 'I don't feel like myself' and 'this isn't the real me', which basically makes Sallie think that it was out of character because he's this nice guy but stops her thinking it was an act.
That's why she was focused on, cause all that had happened and Michael went over to explain it because there was the potential that he could be rumbled this early on. I'd be surprised if it didn't make the highlights tonight actually. But yeah, that's the reason she got the airtime...cause Michael was talking to her. I'm glad they showed that, when I turned the feed on I was hoping for some fallout of the Michael diary room thing, and that's what I got. Much prefer to see him trying to weasel out of what could've been a disastrous situation than seeing Hazel talk about modelling.
Don't get me wrong, I like the normal conversations housemates have on live feed too, it's part of the reason I've always supported the feed. But when you're only getting an hour the people in charge of it are going to be focusing on those who are still creating the most talking points within that hour as if it's another highlights show, don't forget they're chasing ratings. If we had it 24/7 it'd be a different matter.
