It is because the girl he fancies and also near seems to stalk,(quite in a creepy way at times too as others have said on this forum), in the house, does not feel in any way the way he does and also that he was unable to really explain over their meal clearly what his feelings really are.
I don't dislike Callum, however I feel as with Daley, he is allowing his BB experience to be completely ruined by his fixation with a female housemate rather than just getting on,bringing his personality out and enjoying it all as best he can.
I think he may be realising that and that is the reason he cried not because of something someone said ages ago and who was nowhere near at the time he did cry.
No one likes to see anyone cry, I don't.
It is though his failure with Charlie by his own means that also has her not reciprocating what he feels/thinks as to her that is the likely real reason for the tears..

I'm sorry joey, I hate to disagree with you as I really value you as a member but Callum did
not cry because of Charlie. He made it very clear in fact, that it was bigger than just him liking Charlie and not being liked back. For Callum, the issue was that he always has to put a front up to please people, and behave in the way that he believes they expect him to behave. And here's why Dan comes into the equation. Callum was being his genuine self being kind and supportive. But then, Dan had a problem with it and criticized him for it, mainly behind his back might I add. As a result, due to his low self esteem to begin with, Callum resorted back to the 'lad' type character that he expected would please everyone, because people wouldn't accept him for who he was. As a result, Charlie criticized him for not being real. The issue with identity is what upset Callum, not Charlie liking him. The guy is such a gentleman and unfortunately people like Dan who are so focussed on themselves and winning, need to bring nice people like Callum down to feel better about themselves.
I know you're a Dan fan Joey, and I respect that. But in all honesty, he really is my second least favourite housemate in Big Brother history, just because of how sly and manipulative he is. He
was one of my favourites at the start because I saw him as a nice guy, but he really hasn't been and the way he treats Callum is really unfair and quite cruel, in my opinion.
