It does not matter about the intent (playfight or whatever). Technical assaults were committed by both parties.

Hazel kicked out at Daley, pressed a pillow over his face and pulled his pants down. 3 assaults.

Daley slapped her bum and held her down with a threat to headbutt her. 2 assaults.

Both parties have put themselves at risk of prosecution. However, in the circumstances, it is likely the police would only recommend a prosecution to the CPS if one of the parties formally complained. But that would risk the other party also complaining.

They could both end up in court on assault charges but it is extremely unlikely.

Both Callum, who I like, and Dexter, who I don't, get far more hate on here than Hazel does. Probably because they are arch enemies so each others fan understandably are against them.

Hazel made her bed by behaving the way she did in the house. People, including Emma Willis have the right to express their opinions on here or on tv. This is what housemates have to expect from going on BB, the shows been going long enough for nobody to be under any illusions, housemates every single move is open to criticism.

I think all the hate for Hazel is because she is seen as (a) instigator of the "relationship" - flinging herself at Daley etc and (b) getting too light a punishment from BB.

Hence people wanting to punish her with gunging (twice), tarantula-eating, snake costume wearing etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few more punishments coming her way next week!

Then those people need to re-watch the show and they'd see Daley was the instigator.

Doesn't excuse her own decision to get involved with him, but it doesn't warrant the abuse she's receiving weeks later either.

Because outside of the Daley situation I fail to see what exactly has she done to warrant such hatred. People just not liking her is fine, but I would have expected Grace or Charley level of behaviour to warrant the treatment she gets on BOTS and online.

no there is no way on earth you can prove one instigated this more than the other.....both were idiotic participants and both must face the consequences

Why is she a horrible person? Because she flirted outrageously with Daley knowing she was playing with fire? Ok I might give ya that one. But what else has she done OUTSIDE of the Daley situation to make you think she is horrible. By "instigated" I mean he was the one to first express feelings towards Hazel, telling her "I like you" then leading her to reciprocate.

I'm not saying this alleviates her blame, I'm saying if people are going to blame everything they can find on Hazel then they need to get their facts right.

He was not lured away from his girlfriend by Hazel, he willingly participated. Fact is, he approached Hazel. As much as people like to believe he's a poor little victim who can't think for himself and was seduced by the Queen of Tarts, he wasn't. He knew what he was doing but did it anyway. Even going as far as to lie about his relationship status, as confirmed by Katie.

Like Josy, I also didn't like Hazel much long before the Daley situation.
I don't hate her, I just don't find her very likeable. Any time I warm to her it's usually when she is a bit tipsy and joking about. I liked watching her and Dan or her and Charlie having a laugh together because you see glimpses of a fun girl. I also feel a bit sorry for her lately.

However the majority of the time she has just too hard of a personality. It is good to show strength and confidence but there is no need to go overboard and be too hard. It makes her come across like a cold person, who is just focused on themselves/career and who might be a bit ruthless.
I watched her tonight on live feed telling Charlie that she was deliberately restricting herself from crying or showing any emotion. If she was less hardnosed and showed a warmer side to her personality and stopped with the tough act I think people would warm to her a lot more.

She doesn't bother me too much. I'm disliking Sophie way more at the minute. But I hate that people who don't like Hazel just get accused of being jealous. For some that may be the case, but for plenty others they just have their own reasons for not liking her. It is defo not just to do with the Daley situation. [For the record I think he is a prick] People disliked her before the flirting too.

I've never 'hated' her but I've warmed a bit more than usual to her recently. I'm aware though that this may be just because I feel a bit sorry for her.

I actually found it really uncomfortable seeing Hazel getting voted all of the worst things in the task, having her name chanted, everyone saying she should have been ejected... It just reeks of sexism and bullying and downplaying what Daley did to her. I've disliked Hazel pretty much since the start, but I feel terrible for her and I hope she makes the final just as a **** you to everyone who gives her ****.

Course it's a fair question, and I'll answer it. I didn't like her on first impressions way before anything with Daley, and nothing has happened to change my opinion, rather her actions have only reinforced my feelings about her. She isn't my most disliked housemate overall, that would be the twins.

You can't stop people disliking her by being so forceful, it feels like your saying I have no right to dislike her and it's all down to the Daley situation, but the situation showed her for the person (in my personal opinion) I believe her to be, and do not like.

Whatever storylines any housemate has in the house will always define them and give a damm good indication of their true personality, their actions are how we viewers judge them, and I am not saying Hazel is evil through and through and has no redeeming features, but I do not like her, and never will.

You see nice things in her and that's fine, but don't imply I am out of order for my preference please.
